Default Sam Pack/5 Star Ford in Plano

A few months ago, my motor became flooded and died. Luckily insurance stepped in to replace the motor with a refurbished one. I brought the truck into Sam Pack Ford in Plano, TX and it took them a month to get it all sorted out. As soon as I got the truck back, it ran terribly. It would shake and jump up and down in the RPM range. I brought it back and they plugged it in to their computer and said nope everything looks good. Took it back, same issues. Brought it back and they did a "reflash". This seemed to reduce the issue, but it's still present. The truck is laggy as hell, and I can still feel it shake every few seconds. Also, since the reflash, my temperature gauge for sync goes bonkers every few days. It will randomly say it's -23 degrees for 10-20 minutes, then realize that it's way off and start to correct itself. Not a huge issue, but when it's 100 degrees outside and your A/C will only blow out warm air because it thinks it's below 0....it kind of sucks.

At this point, I'm not really sure what to do. Every time I go to Sam Pack, they just seem to say the computer system says it's fine, even though it's clearly not.

I really don't want to take it somewhere else because this has already been paid for, but I have a hard time trusting Sam Pack any further.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

TLDR:
-Truck blew
-Replacement motor put in by Sam Pack
-Runs like poop and have brought it back to them multiple times to no avail
-Not sure what to do at this point

Thanks for the input. I think I'm going to bring it back up there today. The service rep told me to drive it for 5K miles to "break it in", which I've about hit now.

Hope to get a loaner, but we'll see. That's the suckiest part. Not having a vehicle.

Also forgot to mention that one of the times I had to have it towed back after they put in the refurbished motor because it way over heated and started smoking forcing me to pull over on the side of the highway.

Complain then work your way up the chain of command at the dealer. Make sure your complain holds water though. Like would hold water in court. I doubt many dealers these days try and avoid helping you. It is possible but more often then not dealers help you if they can.

Can't speak about the service department at all, but if you are talking about the dealership on Plano Parkway, I didn't know they had become part of Sam Pack - to say the least I drive right by them and the Ford dealership in Richardson - every day and wouldn't stop at either one if it was the last Ford dealership around - mainly just from the stupidity and the way I was treated by sales staff.

I hope you get it worked out. I bought at and am pretty pleased with Autonation Ford in Frisco, but they seem to be too big for their location - not easy to get in for service.
