I did the 2wd shovel the driveway into the bed dance for years and never really had issues. I could get around in 6-8 inch reasonably well I thought..... Then I got 4wd and will now always have 4wd. I wouldn't waste the money and just get the 4wd. You won't regret it for a second.
Any strong opinions out there on which is best for my situation. 300 yard uphill access road which is ploughed to the width of the truck (hedge rows on both sides). Last Jan we had 2 ft of snow each drop whith large drifts. I had to dig the plough truck out when his transmission failed in the middle of ploughing.
If the beast Raptor would allow me to simply stick it in gear and go I could easily be persuaded for one of those too as my milage is low 10k a year.
Perhaps I should put a voting poll out there.
