Default Running switch through firewall 2013

Wiring up offroad lights.
I read about finding the several grommets to run the wire through the firewall, but cant seem to figure it out. Which is the easiest one to use? I looked under the drivers side and behind the carpet and there are not so many options. I see one large rubber grommet on the left side with a big taped up bunch of wires going through it, not sure about removing that one. Otherwise there was a little round black plastic thing with a white thing in the middle, tried pulling on that to no avail.

advice? pics? videos? all welcome

I found 1 on each side. Right above a large harness, there is a small bulb type thing. I slit that and slid my wires through. IIRC on the drivers side the harness was just below the brake cylinder, its about the same location on the passenger side.
This was on a 2012

That is the same location I ran my boost line and a wire through for my boost gauge.

I ran mine through the large grommet on the drivers side. There should be a nipple on the side of the grommet. Cut a slice in it with a razor knife and feed the wires through. I think the one on the passenger side comes in behind the heater box, and much harder to access.

Is that large grommet about 3 inches in diameter and has a taped up bunch of wires about an inch thick running through it just left of the brake pedal?
