Default Running boards? Yay or nay?

Ike them off and look great. Anyone else? Has there been door dings from flying rocks or worn out seats from sliding out of the seat?

I like the look without better personally. I also don't need them seeing as how I'm 6'2 but my fiancé is only 5'2 and needs them and so does her 5 yr old and 14 yr old plus if I leave em on they won't mess up my seats since they don't really care about other peoples things
Passenger side floor board and floor trim parts is always covered in mud and drivers side is clean(I landscape for my job) so that's weird lol

I can barely get a full toe on mine to step into the vehicle. They are farely useless IMHO. They do look good...

Even better get some amp power steps. Looks like there off until you open the door and need them then there folded out with more usable step then oem

I love the clean look without them, but I had a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500, Cummins that didn't have steps from the factory. Within the first weeks of ownership my rockers were fairly pitted from rocks being kicked up from the tires.

Have 9,000 miles on my 2013 and not a single rock chip on the rockers. Drove my 2011 XLT 32k miles, and didn't have a single rock chip on the rockers on that truck either.

That said I care more about rock chips, than the clean look of no running boards.

Pulled them off the day I bought the truck new and sold them about a week and half later. No thanks!

I did the amp power steps. For those that need a running board that actually functions as a useful step they're great.
