Running boards in canada
Can anyone suggest a Canadian supplier for DeeZee Brite Tread (or similar) running boards?? Shipping from US is not the problem. Dealing with customs brokers and Canada customs is. I've been burned up to 700% on these costs before and you don't know what they are until it turns up at your door. NAFTA ?? Hah!
I was looking for no-drill mounting but that seems to be quite expensive. Therefore, I've kinda settled on these. Thoughts, anyone?

Canada customs isn't too bad. It's the 'brokerage' fees charged by fedex, UPS etc. for shipping cross-border. If you can find an outfit that will ship USPS you'll find its much cheaper.

Van and Truck World - DeeZee Retailers
Try Van and Truck world ... they carry many suppliers including DeeZee. If the item is not listed on the site (they have a good search engine), then I'm sure they can order it for you.
They have a store in St. John's ... check it out!

EDIT: Here's their link to the DeeZee running boards:

Bye F150, hello F250
Try these guys. They are retailers and will ship to you, without brokerage fees!! A pal in Calgary bought parts from him recently, everything arrived fine and even with shipping added, was less than he could get the parts for locally where he was.

As others have said duty is not bad it's the brokerage fees from UPS and FedEx that make it expensive. I always make sure it comes in via USPS when ever possible. Having said that with the postal strike you maybe better off going with UPS or FedEx if you want them anytime soon.

I live in town currently but wish I was on the west coast.
Action in Grand Falls was awesome to deal with when I bought my cap and a few other accessories for my Chevy. But the crowd in here are awfully and to try and get decent service is next to impossible unless you pull out a fist full of cash and wave it around. To be honest I tend to order most of my stuff from the US.
