Default Roush vent-pod and boost gauge installation...

Sorry... The title shoudl say VENT POD, not VENT POS!
--------------------------------------------------------------------

A few people have asked me about this, so I'm posting it in a new thread.

A week or so ago, I installed Roush vent-pod and the new Roush mechanical boost gauge. So far, very happy with both. You still get full airflow out of the vent, but loose the ability to direct the airflow in a specific direction. Not an issue at all in practical use. Can be mounted in any vent location. I chose the drivers center vent instead of the drivers left vent.

Installation was pretty easy, gauge performance is very fast. One of the reasons I prefer mechanical boost gauges instead of electronic. It is fully black when off, red dial when on, and the background is LED lit and can be white or blue, or two-mode with white LED with headlights off, blue with headlights on.

Looks really good. Did the gauge come with everything you need or was there a separate mount you had to buy?

Roush makes both pieces, but they are sold individually. #1, Boost gauge. #2, vent-pod mount.

Go to www.roush.com and you can see the items.

That looks very good. I like the fact that the vent is still functioal. Nice mod.

Where did you get the power source from? Is there an easy way to get from engine bay to the cabin for the boost tubing? Did you have to remove the radio?

Recently purchased the same dash vent guage pod.

Waiting for delivery of an AeroForce Interceptor scan guage.
