HI every one

i have a 2012 crew cab ecoboost. the truck has 123,00km on it and it has just started shifting rough from 2nd-3rd gear. i notice it at low speeds 20-30kmper hour. Any suggestions as to why the truck would be doing this?

The affected vehicles have a 6R80 transmission in certain Ford F-150s built at Dearborn Assembly Plant and Kansas City Assembly Plant, Aug. 19, 2011 through March 9, 2012; 2012 Ford Expedition vehicles built at Kentucky Truck Plant, Aug. 19, 2011 through Dec. 19, 2011; Ford Mustang vehicles built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant, Aug. 19, 2011 through Feb. 21, 2012; and Lincoln Navigator vehicles built at Kentucky Truck Plant, Aug. 19, 2011 through Dec. 17, 2011.
Is yours built between these dates? On your door has the build date in the sticker.

Something to look into. Welcome to the site.

They are supposed to expand the build date window at some point.
While getting up to speed my 2014 would drop down to 1st gear @ about 40-45 miles per hour. That'll make your butt pucker.

As for the OP's issue...I'd unhook the battery for a few minutes and let the transmission re-learn. Sounds like his rough 2nd-3rd gear shift is different than the recall issue.
