great review man. i have the hidden winch also and wireless love it. one this i bought a winch cover from smittybuilt to stop water and etc from hitting it while not in use!!

you know that order i placed with rough country?
well apparently my order should have arrived Monday morning.
so i called ups yesterday and then rough country.
i spoke to a guy named Ryan at rough country, and he told me "ill check with the ups rep and call you back within the hour."
well, since i had been up since 5am Monday morning; woke up in kamloops and drove to Drayton valley. had enough time to kick my gf and my dog out of the truck, have a shower, then drive another half hour on the highway to go to work for 12 hours. i called rough country at about 8:30 am our time Tuesday morning and by 10:00, i crashed on the bed. when i woke up at 5:15pm to go back to work for 7:00 pm... there was no missed calls as there should have been.
i am pretty pissed at these guys. enough to say, this is probably going to be my only order i have with them. i am at the point where ill buy a rancho lift just because of customer service.
there is a rough country dealer in Calgary, but that's a 8 hour drive away... the gas alone will kill me vs the cost of shipping.
i simply wanted a sexy setup that no one else has around here.
a rough country lift would be nice and rare... but so is a rancho lift.
anyways, thought i would let you boys know so you know what to expect when dealing with these BLEEPS

well, here's a bit of an update....
rough country processed the order TWICE.
UPS didn't call to let me know that I've got additional fees to pay and just let the package sit in their possession until it was deemed "lost" and the second one was "returned to sender".
naturally, i'm pretty pissed at these guys.
first of all, no one responded to my first email, then some idiot named ryan, wouldn't return a simple phone call a hour later, and it's been a week, and still no mount.
I seriously think UPS is nothing more than "useless pieces of S***"
and now that it's the weekend, you'd think this issue would have been resolved? heck no... now I gotta wait until Monday, before any questions will get answered.

Dude, sounds like you've had a hard time. Rough Country took care of me, shipped me out a replacement part at their cost and they were very reliable. Hope you get it all sorted out!

hard time? i'd rather be in a jail cell with a guy who calls me "bubba" than to have been (still) going thru this bs...
I was supposed to go to a mud fest, basically a big group of friends etc to go mudding.
truck even had an appointment on Friday for the install, as well as other stuff.
I had to book the weekend off of work, just to go mudding.
no winch, no mudding...
rough country has been trying, but thanks to ups everything is screwed up.
if rough country hadn't processed the order twice, there wouldn't be twice the eff up's.

I emailed dustin, originally. whom didn't respond to my emails.
on the day after expected arrival date, I called ryan.
ryan said he would call me back within the hour, never did. not even a missed call.
normally on here, I love to be a fun loving *****... but lately, I've stayed off the forum simply because i'm trying to keep calm rather than step out of line.
so, i'm waiting to see what they do.
