Yes, mine is a 4x4. I would be interested to know if your installation causes sag, please post here (with photos too if possible).
Fuel consumption is pretty bad; right now city is 11.5mpg and hwy is 15mpg and it's a 2013 Plat and I have a cap on the back. Unfortunately I did not compare it with consumption prior to installing the winch.

Thanks null. I believe yours is a 4x4, correct?
When I go to do the installation (once I have the mount and the weather warms up a bit), I'll take before and after measurements, then decide if I need to install any front spacers.
Notice any change in fuel consumption after the winch? Course, if you quickly leveled the front, I suppose that might factor in as well.

I doubt this would make the suspension sag. I mean the guy in the video placed that into the truck pretty easy. It doesn't look heavy enough to sag the front. Especially in a vehicle that can carry 5-6 people in the cab and not bottom out. Although the weight is distributed further back.

I recently bought a lightly used 2012 F-150 XLT 4wd. I was considering putting 33's on my factory 20's and this winch without a level. Anybody have similar set ups? Any rubbing after installing the winch or sagging? And the steel cable or the synthetic rope winch?

I'm pretty sure it sagged a bit because the weight is ahead of the suspension and really in the nose of bumper. It's also possible my desire to put the Bilsteins on made me think it was lower

This is a great post by Nullname and actually easier to follow than the Rough Country youtube video if you have the wind dam, etc. I bit the bullet and installed a Warn Zeon 10. I could not find much out there on the Rough Country Mount/Warn Winch combo. Fit was tight, but after a little trimming on the hood latch, she slid right in. Thanks to Nullname for starting the post and everyone else for their feedback.

Not to dredge up an old thread, but I had the Rough Country setup on my truck for 12 months almost to the day. I used it exactly twice. This past weekend when doing my routine oil change/tire rotation I decided to unspool the winch cable and clean it since we've had a lot of salt this winter. Completely dead. I checked all the connections, fuses, etc and found no problem. I called Rough Country customer service and was told to "bang on the box a few times" to see if that fixed it. What? Is that a serious recommendation? I said thanks and hung up. I fiddled with it a while longer and finally came to the conclusion that this thing is gonna leave me stranded one day. I uninstalled it and I'm gonna replace it with a Warn. The mount plate is nice, but the winch is junk.
