rollup tonneau advice needed
Well now that I got my 4x4 fixed (replaced both front IWEs) and am liking my truck again, its time to start dressing it up a bit. On my list right now are the OEM mud flaps to keep the ice/mud off my slippery running boards, floor mats, and a tonneau cover to keep the snow out of the bed.
Now before anyone starts talking BAKflip or any other type of hard cover, I have to first mention any hard cover will not work for me. With my ATV in the bed and the tailgate closed I have maybe 6-8 inches between my atv bumper and my back glass. The ATV has to be up on ramps at the front of the truck just to get it in the bed. A rollup cover is the only thing that will do the job. I know the hard covers come off easy, but I need to recover the bed when I get to my camp site to keep stuff dry inside it when the ATV is out. Can't pack it along with me lengthwise in the truck either cause I already have my ramps and camping gear taking up all the rest of the space.
Anyhoo, I had an original ACCESS cover on my previous truck, and liked it allright, though it did leak water at the tailgate and up at the front. It came on the truck though, and was missing the front seal so that could have been allot of the problem. I did like how easy it was to use though, and besides replacing the Velcro on the rails, it held up really nice.
Anyone have luck with the tonnomax or tonnoPro covers? They are like 250 on ebay and look similar to the Access, but at half the price. I'm sure their warranty is shorter but if it gets the job done I'm OK with that. I'd like to keep the price at or under 300 bucks and have been watching craigslist but not much luck finding one for the 6.5ft bed length on my truck. let me know if anyone has used these and how they have held up?

Never trued the Tonnopro but I got a Truxedo Truxport cover. They are on amazon for around $280 I found. I love it. Looks great, rolls up in any weather and havent leaked a drop of water yet.

I have a 2013 super crew with 5&1/2 ft bed. I put a tonneau pro soft roll up bed cover. I bought it for $241 at autoanything.com. Low profile looks great and works great

That's a pretty good deal. Only one problem I can see for my application though is that I have tie downs in the stake pockets (that do not self store), and that truxport looks like it would cover up the stake pocket openings....?

I wish I had a better picture of my Ford accessories cover. It is in fact a Truxedo Edge roll up. It's Truxedo EVERYWHERE with a Ford oval about 10" from the tailgate. I had to take it off to install the Bedrug and it was very easy to reinstall and get lined up. I'm impressed with the auto tension system and the seals. It's not 100% water tight, but it's pretty close for a sub $400 cover.

Thanks for your input, I just scored a brand new Access TonnoSport for $300 including shipping off ebay. Listed buy now as $328, I made $300 offer and got instant approval. I guess I should have tried for less, but still got it 30 bucks cheaper than anywhere else and it will be here Friday. If anyone is interested, the seller on ebay is overstockaccessories.

I'm trying to find one as well for my truck- I found one on e-bay, same price as yours but the seller is called: AutoAccessoriesGarage
Is this the same company as you found yours on? I'm also liking the Bakflip but pretty pricey!

Anyway, you can get the Ford branded stuff through any dealer, or order it online I believe. I would try one of the sponsors here or Tasca or White Bear Ford. It's a nice subtle oval that's embossed into the cover. Everything else on the cover (labels, instructions, etc) is stamped with Truxedo's info.
