I had done the Line-X with extra on my last F150 on the rockers and around the wheel wells. It looked great and I had a ton of compliments on the look. The bad: around seems and edges it had the occasional chip. I used touch up paint to make those chips less noticeable. In five years on the truck the "extra" they push did its job and I sold the truck with it looking the same way it did when it was installed (no sun fade). Bonus: Line-X with Extra cleans up easier then paint. Very little truly sticks to it. Would I do it again? Maybe in the later years of a truck but not on my 2012 XLT.

Looked pretty good for an 89 XL (I swapped the front clip with a 96 donor)
