I had an AAL on a previous truck and it was quite stiff unloaded. The RAS is hard to detect regarding adverse ride quality under any load besides the lack of squat. The unloaded ride is actually quite good with the RAS. Seems more planted on a daily basis.

That's good to hear...I am leaning towards the RAS but want to hear from more folks who have had the take off shudder and if the RAS eliminated (or made it bearable ) when towing heavy loads (i.e. 8,000 lbs and up) particularly 5th wheel setups....
