Roadmaster Active Suspension/Lift Blocks Question
I ordered the RAS kit for my 2011 Screw 5.0 4WD last week. I don't tow or carry heavy loads, but I do have some driveline shudder as many others have reported. I am hoping the RAS will smooth things out a bit. From all I have read, the RAS kit will lift the rear slightly, even at its lowest setting. I really don't want to lift the rear any higher, I have enough rake already. I don't want to use a leveling kit in the front to even things out either. I was thinking about pulling the rear lift blocks out (I think they are 1 1/4" on the 4WD). With the RAS installed and the blocks gone, I am thinking the truck should sit almost level, maybe with just a little rake. What do you guys think ? Any potential issues without the blocks ? Thanks.

Bump.
I was thinking along these lines today too. My RAS should arrive next week. I don't want to be level because I do tow. I don't want to look like a 70's street rod when empty though.

Hey... it's me.
I like mine and was the first to install it several months ago.
It's awesome.
Over and out.
Edit - Added: They only issues I could see (and remember, I have a 2WD) is when loaded, wheel rub IF you have over sized tires.
I guess I'd ask the question why a 4WD has rear blocks and a 2WD doesn't.
