ride rite rear airbags
recently added the ride rite rear air bags to my ford after being fed up with the rear sag i had when towing.
here's how she sits now,
rear add a leaf and air bags,2.5 level up front
here's how it was last feb with approx 7k pounds, rear add a leaf,no air bags, really dragging my ***!
here's how it is now towing around 9k,very little sag!

Have you had any load in the back yet with the air bags. I have a set of bags in garage waiting to be installed. I haul a ton of pellets for my mom a couple os times a year and got tired of making 2 trips. I figured the air bags will allow them to just plop the pallet right in center of bed and I should be ok. Got the heavy duty which say will be good for up to 5000 lbs..

nice! I have loved broncos ever since the first time I sat in an '88 at a car show for the first time .... had a chance to buy a 93 brand new with the 5.8l but passed it up for an SHO... have regretted that choice more than once over the years!
I'm either buying a cj7 or an < 86' bronco as soon as I find the right one (I like the older style front ends before the plastic headlights etc.

How was the install? How do they ride unloaded? Did u do any inboard air compressor? I'm about to get a set once I swap out my suspension and looking for any and all advice/opinions. What made u choose Firestone vs airlift?

Looks good! I have a set of Firestone ride rites in mine with an airlift compressor and gauge kit.
I'm debating on doing a level though. How do you find the ride after doing the level?

didn't do a compressor just picked up a cheap compressor i plug into my lighter.
i had firestone on my last truck was the only reason i went with it again but i think airlift is a good product too.
