review(pics) of Icon Stage2 suspension upgrade
I put this in this forum instead of the reviews forum since it is only for 2009 and up F150's.
I have installed Icon vehicle dynamics stage 2 system, which consist of coil overs with eibach springs, upper control arms with uniball articulation and rear two inch heavy duty VS shocks (they have systems for both 2wd and 4wd). This system is 2 of four different systems gradually beefing up suspension for heavy off road use. I do very mild off road so the stage 2 was fine for me. Purchased from Stage 3 Motorsports with excellent results.
My installer who routinely does really radical stuff for the jeep community working with king coil and fox said this was the best stuff he had seen and the coil over springs were the strongest he had ever seen. This system gives you a full three inch lift (actually it lifted my truck 3.8 inches) so I installed a rear auto spring three inch block lift to level out the truck.
The ride is simply unbelivably smooth and the added articulation is amazing! I did a little off roading the day after install and I could go over areas I would never had considered before this install. This is heavy duty stuff that will hold up regardless of where you drive. The truck is so much more responsive now and rides so smooth.

Questions on mild lift/tires/gear ratio:
1. I plan on using 2.5 leveling kit and add a leaf. What shocks should I use to work with lift and provide a factory ride?
2. I will be using 305/50/R20 Yokohamas on 20" Method rims. What gearing should I use? Currently has a 3.55. Will computer need to be upgraded?
3. I have also ordered Hawk pads and stoptech slotted rotors as I plan to use this truck for towing.
I didn't want the jacked up look, I prefer to make it look relatively stock.
Any advice and suggestions are appreciated!

How do the CV angles look? This looks more like a level and not a lift since it doesn't actually come with steering knuckles and a sub frame drop.

damn you cranked up the preload on those suckers! if you want a softer and better performing ride on and off road, let off on the amount of preload you go with. its less lift but offers far better results.

i dont know where your getting your info/specs (the installer?) and just need to comment here...
im running the same system on my 2013 F150 and also did on a 2009 gmc sierra.. there is no stage 2 system for an F150 (only the Raptor) and certainly no stage 3 or 4.
the icon coil-over is initially set-up as about a 2 inch rise from Icon's factory. is it possible you are not adjusting to what looks like a new tire & wheel combo you also installed?
i made 4 whole turns tighter with a spanner wrench and the ride was rough and raised it up a little more than 1/8 inch.. 2 1/4 turns from factory specs worked best for adjusting the added winch weight up front and keeping a nice ride on my particular rig. i will say now that i have about 2,500k on the suspension and the valves have seated, the rear end has smoothed out even more and i may tighten down the front coil-overs a "nats hair" more.
to be honest.. your specs make no sense? however, i do agree with the improved ride on & off road. hands down better performance on & off road.
