What are you wiring? Do you have to have it running off the 3rd brake light?

I did. Ran a wire from the reverse lights at the rear to the cargo light, with 2 diodes- 1 for each cargo light.

So do this mean that anytime you turn on your interior lights (with the dash switch) that the reverse lights come on as well? I know the cargo light comes on when you unlock with the keyless remote but to turn on the cargo lights normally you have to turn on the interior lights. Might be kind of weird driving down the highway with your reverse lights on if you happen to flip on the interior lights....just sayin.

I think the purpose of the diodes would be to only allow current to flow from the reverse lights up to the cargo for power, but not the opposite direction. They would eliminate the reverse lights from going on when you unlock, for example.
