Default Reverse lights NOT working

My son has my 2010 Lariat now, I removed the cree reverse leds that I had installed under the rear bumper that were tied into the reverse power feed from the trailer hitch and now the reverse lights in the housings don't work. Tried changing the bulbs, checked the fuses, what could be wrong?

How did you have the aftermarket lights tied into the system? Did your tap the wires and possibly caused a break in them?

Even a better question, did the backup lights all work when the aftermarkets were installed?

Tapped wires of the trailer hitch, yes they worked! I am going to connect the truck to a trailer and see if the electrical connection of the trailer lights work.
