Default Reverse Input for rear view mirror

I am looking at adding an on demand switch for my reverse camera.

I know so far that the harness for the mirror comes down the rear left pillar (E) but I am not sure where that reverse input goes to from there. I am trying to run as little wire a possible. I believe this is under the dash on the drivers side somewhere but I cant find it. I know it cant "T" directly off the reverse lamps because they dont come on when I supply it with power at the mirror. I assume its got to come from the SJB but I cant find where. Since theres no BCM in the back anymore its gotta be coming from under the dash.

If someone has a wiring diagram and can trace that reverse input wire (light blue) from the mirror I would be very greatful.

Thanks!

Found it. Passenger footboard. If anyone else tries this tap the wire under the step plastic. Much more room to work with. Just tape or heat shrink it is its water tight. It's still light blue. Apply 12v and rear camera activates. Simple. I'll post pics later

There's a great guide on installing a switch at the headliner. But I really wanted mine down in the center console. Although my toggle button seems to not work. I have to install and wire the spare tomorrow. Pita. I'll get pics ASAP. And write a whole how-to
