So I've been problem free for some time now, but I recently encountered another glitch. I replaced the relay harness a month ago and its been working well. Unfortunately I discovered that my high beam soleniods don't fire. I checked both connections and the truck's high beam fuse and both are good. This leads me to believe that once again I have to replace the relay harness. I'm away for the week but will likely hook up my old relay harness to see if they fire, and hook the solenoids directly to a 12v power source when I get home. Any other ideas?

Well, whether or not it was intended this thread has seemed to become a more generic for all things retro heads come here type. At least that is what I thought it was till this comment.

No doubt Yuke wasn't trying to step on anyone's Kool aid.

We're you the one having tons of condensation issues? If too much water was in maybe the solenoid shorted out

Yep. Only in the bottom edge of the light.
Went digging for it..relay harness is bad. Went and looked at the clip connecting to the control box and wiggled the wires around, low and behold both highbeams fired right up. So here we are with a relay harness that lasted literally a week and a half. A WEEK AND A HALF!

Emailed TRS, holding back on my true feelings. I asked for some compensation for all the shipping i've paid on warranty. I said it before, but the only things that haven't been defective yet are the projectors and one ballast. The rest has been replaced under warranty.

Finally completed my hid retro, Apollo 3 shrouds, painted turn signal housing gloss black as well as the shrouds, reflector is a light dusting of matte black. Opted against installing the angel eyes even though I purchased them

Thanks, definitely not easy, hope it holds up. But the pride in knowing I did it myself feels good
