I'm happy with the build quality. Unfortunately I got bad luck of the draw and had (have) some issues. Turns out the halo problem is just a blown driver on one side. Now I've got some condensation & moisture issues in both lights. I'm thinking it's the factory rubber boots on the back. One light only gets condensation inside, the other has had water pooling in the bottom. Opened both and resealed, same issue. But we have been in the rain-pocalypse this week, so who knows. Ill probably order some boot caps from TRS and go from there.

The inconvenience has been well worth it!
Looking good brother! I didn't expect to run past you today.
I hope the halos get sorted out soon. That little extra detail will definitely finish it off nicely.

Me neither! The ol' mom and pops wanted to go see showhomes. So I drove them and made pops jealous with that super sexy cutoff line shining everywhere. Not to mention the awesomesauce acceleration of a tuned Ecoboost.

TRS has some halos and rubber housing caps on the way soon, via standard turtle shipping. Having moisture issues with the housings, so hopefully the boot caps fix it.

Good good! Pops is gonna wanna set for hisself... Let me know if he gets tired of that 6.2
The rubber caps are key. I have had absolutely zero issues with my retrofit and they have been in use for almost nine months.

I'm off to reinstall the tune. Thanks for the reminder.

He keeps saying he'd rather be in an ecoboost...I think he's insane. The 6.2L isn't as fun off the line but dat sound! Not to mention the fact that the only 2013 model he'd buy is the FX4 which is a downgrade. So the LL is irreplaceable. I'll end up building him a set of retrofits...

So you run the TRS rubber caps then? Good to know they work. There's small gaps that the factory one doesn't cover where moisture from the wheel well splashes up into the housing. I've drained a pool of water once and tried to seal those gaps with butyl temporarily. Hopefully that will keep the water out until I get my housing caps.

Are you still running the 5* tune?

Yep, more issues. The issues are actually piling up on each other now.

Now the driver's side shuts off after 10 minutes of being on. Ballast going bad? Ugh. I see now why people to for the OEM setup.
