I'll give some tips after work, but guess what happened today? That's right, I found out that one of my ballasts is faulty. TRS customer support was insanely awesome relaying every trick in the book to me so I could try and get it working, in the end it was just straight up broken. I would plug it in and the slightest movement would turn it off. Tried everything. So I'll be rolling around with 1 headlight for a few days I guess...

Yea, you have to take a pic with the wires cut (just to make sure you're not bull****ting about them not working to take advantage of them). I feel thats a lot better than having to send them bck, wait, etc. Should be here Thursday.
Although I did have to drive home from work today with one light and have a few questions/concerns.
My step is lie literally straight forward, maybe a little to the left even. Is that normal? It looks like the step is actually in the other lane a little bit. Is that normal?
And also they seem to bounce a lot, in conjunction to bumps in the road. Is this just because I'm not use to the crisp cutoff?

Your step should be close to dead center in front of you, as for the bounce, you may have some but should not have much, unless doing maybe hard offroading!!! I heard others complain about bounce on their oem 13's, i ve noticed it a little but not enough to where it distracts /bothers me!

It's pretty much dead center in front of the projector itself. They were towards the middle more but then when I aimed them down it slowly drifted to the left with the reflector bucket.

From 20 ft away it should look like its right infront of the headlight, if that makes sense! From about 50ft with both lights on they should almost meet at the cutoffs....

TRS has good customer support. They'll get you taken care of!
As for the "bouncing" cutoff...... it's normal. Any projector that has a sharp cutoff will exhibit the bouncing effect more so than one with a blurred cutoff (think clear lens vs fresnel lens). Give it a little time and you'll adjust to it.
By the way they look great!

Alright so I aimed them down a bit and now the step is like right over the lane marker to the left but I think it will be good. But how low is too low? How high is too high?
And I think chrome shrouds (even though they arent perfect) are growing on me. Even when and if I paint the bumper, it's going to accent the chrome of the LEDs and fogs nicely. Pops a little.
