Ok, so i got my retrofits installed up and running last night. I went out this morning in my garage to make some adjustments to the height of the beam and neither projector will fire now. Last night they worked perfectly. I checked the fuse on the TRS harness and the fuse was blown. No biggie, just put a new 25A fuse in and everything should be good right... nope. Neither projector will fire. My solenoids for high beams work but the projectors won't fire. I checked the bulbs they are good. The ground is good because it's wired into the ground for my halos and they work. I am stumped at the moment as what to check. I redid all the connections also. Anyone have any idea where i should start looking next? One thing i did note was that my ballasts were soaked from driving last night and i am wondering if my ballasts are bad. But that would be to much of a coincidence for both to fail like that. They are the new DSP ballasts. Scratching my head...

EDIT: I checked my highbeam, left side and right side fuses as well. All good. Any other fuse I should be checking?

Hey guys, need a little help. I'm new to all of this but trying to learn.

Purchased Bi-xenon Morimoto stage III (D2S) kit from TRS.

I'm at the stage of trying to adjust my projectors. So I installed the harness (9006) in my truck earlier. However, I was not able to connect the harness input to the halogen bulb output. The connections are incompatible.
I have no idea what to do. Do i have the wrong harness? (I asked TRS and thats what they suggested).

Anyone have a solution for me? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi & welcome!

Yep wrong harness - you need the H13/9008 harness. OEM bulb socket is H13.

Contact them for a replacement. Chit happens I suppose - but this is not typical of them, IMHO. Could be the Atlanty Snowmageddon futzed 'em up

good luck!

Well if he ordered the 9006 harness and didn't order the H13 then that's not TRSs fault.

He even said he ordered the 9006.

You need a H13 harness. Not 9006.

Figured out my problem. I have a bad ballast. It keeps blowing fuses. Tested each side with each ballast and the same ballast keeps blowing the fuse.
