Is it just the threaded shaft and some epoxy on the back? I know you have to dremel the housing a bit to get it in there. I used the jb weld stick to "tack" it in place. Then used epoxy. Trs has a video

I used the D2S. Let me explain the best I can how I did it. I am sure you have the basics of taking the lights apart already. If you are painting them I suggest letting the chromed parts sit in oven cleaner for a bit and just washing the chrome off. Make sure your lights are adjust to as close to center as possible. You will need to Dremel the bucket where the seal meets the bucket to get the light to sit even side to side and up and down. That is the most time consuming part. If you burn through the bucket just use some JB to patch.

You will also need to trim the back of the bucket where the bulb is seated to get enough threads to tighten the projector down. Your kit will come with 2 different style nuts to secure the projector. One looks like a big but, the other is round. I dremeled out the bulb hole and used the round one as a centering ring for the projector .

Once you think it's where it should be put everything together just snug. You can leave he lenses off for now. Mount them in your truck and make any adjustments you need. Do a final tightening of the nut on the back but be careful. The nut is thin and WILL break. Remount to make sure all is good and then JB weld a few spots around the nut. They can be cut back off if you want to change something or have any unforeseen problem later. I used hvac sheeting for the shroud extentions JB welded to the shrouds. Reseal lamps, mount and final adjustment. All smiles from there . Good luck and let me know if you have any questions. Take your time!

I used a sheet of paper as a template. Told the paper to fit the shroud and then made my cuts a little at a time until they fit nicely. Unrolled paper and then I had a template. Transferred to the metal. Yes you will need to make your own. The part of the shroud torwards the grill will be much closer to the bucket than the other.

I actually have mine out. When I take them apart I will try to get some pics of what I have going on. Changing some of the paint scheme.

Awesome look forward to the pics

I plan on doing all chrome try and keep it OEM with my oxford white. So with that being says how is everyone not painting there reflector bowls keep then clean or clean them after you dremel the bulb hole. I've seen that they are very prone to scratching that's why i ask.
