LOL I had to go work and at 5:30 in the morning with no headlights on I'd be a sitting duck for a cop to nail me. I finish work at 2:00pm so it wasn't an issue at that time with no headlights. I only had to do it for two mornings so it wasn't the end of the world until my ballasts arrived.

I used my rigids, made sure my parking lights and fogs were on.

At that temperature, EVERYTHING is Rigid, lol!

Nice to have a 'gone to hell' plan. Heck - the V3 switchbacks an LED fogs almost do the trick, lol. Now to explain that to the local gendarmes....

So I received my new ballast, now before I installed them remember neither of my lights worked. So I remove the old and replace with the new. Guess what? Still no lights!! Right away I think of Joel and his troubles. Well lucky for me I had time and electrical troubleshooting skills. First thing i check is the fuse and its good, Pulled out my trusty multimeter and started probing, started will the ballast wire from the harness and no power, next tested the high beam "projector wire" no power, next I pulled the "relay box" and it seemed ok. Odd I decided to test the h13 oem connector and I had power, so now I know the problem is on the harness. Pulled out the pins from the harness h13 connector and noticed a lot of corrosion the pins were no longer copper! Then I sanded the pins down and connected them directly into the oem h13 connector, turned on my lights and 1 side worked. Ok more testing, swapped the ballast, same side lit up. Swapped the bulbs and the problem swapped sides. Ok bad bulb now. Replaced the bulb with a old bulb I had lying around and eureka 2 lights lit up. High beams both work! Success 2 working hids. Now to email trs and see if they will send me 2 new bulbs and a h13 connector and new pins!

Hope my long winded post helps others in troubleshooting if they run into problems.

I honestly thought I did. Think I missed that connector. But honestly the pins in mine move way to much, inside the connector they were backed out half way, they barely made any contact with the oem.
The pic was my temporary solution

Yeah it's easy to over look. I'm not certain how you have your grounds fastened to your truck but it doesn't hurt to goop your ground screws gong into the frame of your truck to.

TRS should replace your bulbs they said there were cases of the SS ballasts frying Morimoto bulbs.
