I didn't use JB weld. Projector is held in with rear mounting plate and screws, doesn't jiggle over bumps or anything.

I'm not posting this hoping for advice.

I'm pretty sure I will smash them IF Andrew from TRS won't take the kit back. He's service/warranty manager I believe - been emailing with him for too long...

Joel you've got patience and I don't have much tolerance with junky products.

Your problems had me paranoid I just installed my retrofitted lights 3 days ago with TRS supplied components and knock on wood everything went issue free and everything is working like a charm so far. I'm not using the same products as you though so that puts my mind at ease. I didn't build my own retrofits since I don't have the patience, time or trust myself with "fidgety" things. I hear TRS is the best to work with so I hope you get it sorted out.

Knock on wood indeed, as they had informed me that they had many recalls with the ballasts, 35w and 50 (55?)w.

My kit worked properly for approx 1 week until I started noticing the flickering... Then one headlight wouldn't turn on on the first ignite attempt... Had to turn off lights and turn back on...

Troubles escalated exponentially from there.

Good luck my friend.

I just wonder what the deal is.

I mean... So far you've tried new ballasts, and what else?

Have you basically swapped out every single possible thing? Like bulbs, harness, relay?

I know the H13 relay can be a real PITA in rare occasions, that's what I suspect, or potentially the ground of each side?

Have you tried checking the grounds and a new H13 relay?

Here's why - I've installed exactly 18 H13 kits and a few H4 kits (same relay I believe) and had ONE fail in 4 years. Thankfully it was in my own truck, and it literally melted for no obvious reason.

If you are absolutely sure the grounds are good and you've used a different relay then its truly a gremlin - one of those weird *** things that the truck just doesn't like for whatever reason (which seems very unlikely)

Positive grounds are both good.

I asked TRS to send me a new relay, they sent me two cube relays. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with them. See attached pic...
