Retrofit console light from 14' to a 13'?

'14 Lariat and mine has it. Just a small led that is on whenever the gauges are illuminated so no switch.

Must only be on higher trim levels. My 2014 xlt has no light.

Nope I got the truck brand new. That was a drop of water it was raining when I leaned in to take the picture.

My dads 14 lariat has one, and I dont. I'm thinking of swapping it before he notices he has it LOL!

Personally id add some sort of leds, be it a strip or 2 on a switch, or a standard console style bulb housing with a plunger style switch! As that single led isnt doing all that much!

I added 2 strips of 9 3528 smd leds on a N.C. switch in my xlt console... Night and day difference....
