Sounds really nice, but it would totally scream without the factory resonator. I would take it off. It's not a big job and if you do not like it you can always put it back on. Or replace the OEM resonator with a smaller bottle resonator. I love the sound of Borla systems. My favorite far and above.

I am still on the fence about my resonator delete. I originally installed a Magnaflow 18" muffler (model 12249) with a 4" tip on stock piping and had zero drone. It was a bit quieter than what I was looking for so I did the resonator delete resulting in a significant increase in sound volume. Much louder inside the cab and drones slightly from 1500 to 2000 RPM's. It's slightly bothersome but I have left it for now because it sounds great outside the truck and I like the harshness of it when the motor is cold.
