Default Tuner and Remote start... problem

Ok. I have a Titan remote start/lock that came with my truck. Worked perfect untill I had the SVT tuner installed. Remote start/lock only works part of the time. I changed the batteries in the remote. Worked for a bit, now back to the intermittant times. Tried my second remote. Same thing. Sometimes works, sometimes doesnt.

Question...

- would having the tuner installed AFTER the Titan was already installed somehow effect its performance ? But why only at times.. not all the time ?

- would I need to reinstall the Titan from start ? If so... would I need to "uninstall" the Titan before installing again ?

- I cannot see "both" remotes start acting up at the same time.. unless its the "Titan" itself on the truck.

Ive never installed/uninstalled a remote start/lock. Is it hard ?

Am i making sence here??????????????

When you say a tuner was installed --- are you referring to plugging into the OBDII port and changing the ECU programming?

As far as I can tell the Titan remote starter is a *cut and splice* system. If you had simply plugged into the OBDII port with the *tuner* then it shouldn't affect the remote starter --- unless there was some other work done under the hood or dash.

Usually the parking on the truck will flash troubleshooting codes that may be helpful. Other than that there maybe poor wiring connections at the hood pin swith or brake switch or in the wiring harness under the dash or whatever bypass module , etc..
