Default Replacing interior trim

I've been thinking about replacing the standard gray trim around the radio / heater area (maybe other places also) with Ford's woodgrain pieces. Just curious if anyone else has done this.

what trim pkg you have now? my only thought is the other parts of the dash - the colors - going well with the woodgrain. it's not too bad to pull a lot of the panels, they either snap on or take a few screws out but is more than do-able if you are willing to spend the time + material... good luck.

'12 XLT, standard grey / black interior with cloth seats. It seems to me I've seen some pictures where only the center section is woodgrain.

with the XLT you at least already have the chrome accents etc. for looks you prob be ok then. my stx would look silly imo as the rest is pretty plain.
