My suggestion is to first add an amp to your factory speakers. Its not really the factory speakers which are horrible....its the lack of wattage you are sending them from the stock head unit. If you spend lets say $300 for noe aftermarket speakers, and are still feeding it withthe 4-5 factory watts....guess how much better your stereo will sound? Now take maybe $200-$300 and add an aftermarket 4 channel amp to the factory speakers....you will notice a much biggger improvement...which equates to a bigger bang for your buck route Then, later down the road you can upgrade the speakers if you still want to
