Someone should do a "How To" on replacing the speakers.

I had my factory speakers replaced at a sound shop with Rockford Fosgate P1462 Punch two way speakers.
I'm very happy with the improvement in sound quality.

That's not very encouraging for those that may not know how.

Thanks everyone. I think I'll start with swapping out the 4 factory's since I'm not wanting to kill any space either. I figure if I get decent speakers and then a decent amp to power them, that will be plenty good for what I need. Just can't deal with the factory mediocrity. (that's being generous)

I just replaced my door speakers with Alpine SPS-507's - great upgrade. Also put my JL Audio 10" under the seat, Macintosh amp for the door speakers and a JL Audio amp for the sub. I had the door speakers hooked up for a week or so before getting the sub done, was very happy with that sound. Got the sub hooked up yesterday - and at 45 yrs old I feel like a kid again. My wife is making fun of me and my 3 kids on the back are asking me why the seat is moving

They exist on some of the other F150 forums.

i swapped the fronts with infinity's and added a 10" sub in the rear. i amped the sub and fronts and left the factories in the rear as the kids sit back there. sounds awesome to me now.

Amping your aftermarket door speakers will make a HUGE improvement over the stock sound. Depending on your front speakers, you may have to install a spacer so that they don't rub the window mechanism, 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I can't wait to get my sub and install it after all the holiday dust settles.

Yeah, I need to get around to upgrading my speakers too. Keep looking at the FOCAL line but can't believe they are worth the money, frankly.
My previous daily driver was a Volvo S80 T6 (that I gave to my son) that has a 9 speaker premium sound system that is just incredible, and my 'weekend toy' RX7 has a great aftermarket system in it, so yeah...I am missing having a decent system for sure. The factory set up is just horrible.
Maybe Santa will be good to me....
