Default Does anyone expect Ford to react to our complaints?

Ford should be improving the quality of the lug nuts for future and listing a value purchase on non capped lug nuts . Any Ford reps / dealers want to comment ?

Perhaps you should keep them properly inflated and fix whatever is wrong with your suspension. 2500 rotation makes no sense.

keyed lugs from pro comp have always been good for me. they have to use the key to get them off so theres no chance they can use the wrong socket

Ordered a set today from DP for my 2011 with stock 18 wheels.. My stock ones were becoming a pain to remove. This is the first time I have worn out a set of lug nuts. Why the bad design?

They probably save a coupla bucks off of every truck these are used on, for the cheaper quality ones they use. So my guess is, it all about profit.

I can attest to the junk OEM lug nuts. Got a flat tire yesterday on a hunting trip in the middle of nowhere. Tried to get the lug nut wrench on the lug nuts and it wouldnt slide on. Had to hammer the wrench onto each nut because the metal had warped so bad and swelled up in certain places. This really is a safety issue if you cant change a tire.

Ditto on the large seat lug nuts.
The smaller seat will fit, and will work for a while, but eventually the smaller contact patch will wear into the wheel and the wheel will pull off over the lug nut.
Maybe not so much on the street, but if you do any off-roading it's something to consider.
Yup, they are 3 times the price of the smaller seat set, but what price for the peace of mind that comes from doing it right?
For those who haven't had the joy of changing them out yet, pick up a 21.5mm socket (HF, Az, Napa...) and a breaker bar and keep it under the back seat. The time will come.

My 2 cents...

Tagged! Got a flat tire this past week in a VERY busy street near Detroit. (Didn't see the cinder block in the intersection ) Factory lug wrench was useless. Luckily the wrecker driver only charged me $50. Will get new lug nuts and some tools ASAP.

How do the chrome lug nuts look on the grey FX4 rims? Thanks.
