Default Replacement heavy duty bumper for 2011 Ecoboost

Hey guys,

I have tried searching this site to see what some ecoboost owners have chosen for a heavy duty front bumper replacement with little results. I do a lot of driving in northern BC and Alberta and need something thats going to protect me from a collision with a deer and not leave me stranded in -40 degree weather. The problem I have been having is finding a good looking bumper that is compatible with the intercoolers airflow requirements. I want it to be sturdy and well constructed in black as well as giving me full protection at a decent price (1500-2500). I have found a few but nothing I have fallen in love with. This is my truck now to give you an idea (Very first picture). Any input or findings anyone has on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Bumper Picture 1 is from Peacemaker and is built for Eco boost($875). I do not like the diamond steel look and want something a little cleaner but its nice to keep your fog lights and tow hooks. Picture 2 is from Summit Series($917). Picture 3 is from Fab Four and is my favorite style by far($2300 i think). They mention they have an ecoboost bumper but cant find a picture on their site.

A few days ago I contacted Road Armour because I read from a member on this sites thread that they were in development stages. They bought an Eco to do some R&D and this is what they just sent me.

Definitely like the look, but I'm betting that I won't like the price...

i dont understand how these bumpers work on ecoboost cuz i was looking at the fab four then realized all these replacment bumpers block airflow to the intercooler which is bad

Fab four did a study pulling a 5000 lb trailer with the bumper an without it. And it was in 90 degree weather for two days and didn't notice a loss in power, mpg, or a rise in temp.

I wonder how our "double chin" is going to look with an aftermarket bumper...???

On the Road Armour one I got a quote for $2125 without shipping. Probably another 500 to get to Canada. Sigh... I knew it was going to be expensive but you get what you pay for I guess. They have their logo cut through the metal right below the winch hole where the intercooler is for airflow which I think would be enough.
