Tux didn't do my swap...RaptorRetrofit completed mine and I'm glad he did. Dawson did a damn nice job. He's a little OCD about making sure the two projectors are 100% level. So much in fact that he has a custom built jig that replicates the front end of our trucks so that the can nail the alignment.

sorry, I meant the one in the lighting thread that did a swap was Tux. Not yours specifically. Unless RaptorRetrofit also did one and posted it here and I missed it? I remember seeing Tuxs' retro and he didn't mention about the projectors not lining up? I'll take a look.

F150 Forum
Dawson and I speak fairly regularly and swap "retrofit secrets". We have both agreed that we stay away from each other's respective forums that we are vendors. Whether folks are going with Raptor Retrofits or bilinvic Retrofits, they will be receiving the best quality retrofitted F150 headlights in all of North America!

promtbr - There are other options that may be easier, cheaper and satisfactory. I installed two Rigid Dually Spotlights behind my grille wired through a relay to come on with the high beams. They have no cutoff and so cannot be used with low beams but they double your amount of light. I also added two flood lights mounted in the bumper left and right of the license plate. I can aim them wide for more broad coverage. They also come on with the high beams.

This thread has really helped guys! On the one hand, I AM stoked that I have some options.
I am going back and forth whether to order those killer retro fits from Billinvic for 2K. It looks like they would do the job. On the other hand, I have put a crap ton of mileage on my 2012 already and even tho I probably won't get my money out of the killer sound system and display when I trade it in, I do have to think about trading it in before too long and I am reluctant to put that much into lighting for that reason.
I will research further LED light bars or similar, as LONG as I am able to get the side dispersion from them. I don't see how grill mounted light bars (and I AM limited on locations with my massive brush guard) will get me the side lighting.
So you guys are saying I can only run the auxillary lighting when I am on high beams? That won't help me when I have to keep em low. Is there and upgrade to the fogs that will get me help on low beams? My fogs are worthless!
If I run a roof mounted Light bar, again that will only help when I am on high beam? In winter when roads and weather are iffy, I rarely run high beams.
I am embarrassed to say that a 2012 RAV4 OEM lights is the BEST lighting I have ever experienced for driving where we do. We can scan and see deer 75 yards off the sides of the road at night on low OR high beams. I want that in my truck lighting, and I guess if I have to pay the bucks I will do it. Sounds like even if I trade for the newer F150 with their HID, they will give me much better normal road driving, but have no greater side dispersion. A mechanic at my dealer who owns a f150 with HID said as much.
