Default Replacement headlights

I have been trying to figure out what headlights i am going to get. I am leaning towards the harleys because as cool as the halos are i dont want to splice a new truck.

Whats your experiences with sonar recon etc? I prefer straight plug and play.

There are other brands with halos that just plug and play if you really want the halos. Check out my album for a picture of mine. No splicing. I don't know what brand they are but I got them on ebay and I've been happy with them.

I'm getting the HDs when I get some spare time from tasca Josh. IMO halos are too flashy but given the right combo they will still look good. I think the HDs are the best hands down tho.

I kinda agree but they make a neat parking light. I wanted projectors to add HIDs to, and the ones I bought were 1 of 2 types available when I was looking(both had halos). I wouldn't have spliced if needed, but since they were plug and play I have halos. The other positive side to mine is that they have a lot more height adjustment than stock housings. That came in handy when I leveled my truck.
If I were just looking to change the look of my truck then I might just go with the HDs as well. Depends on the price difference.

I found these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/09-10...#ht_2747wt_939

Same as mine but a different seller. The seller I got mine from isn't on ebay anymore. They also come in black. Mine do not have the strip of LEDs below the projectors like the Recons, only the 3 LEDs on the side. Mine look the same on the back with the main plug and the little plug that goes in where you remove the 194 bulb from the side marker.

HDs might be cheaper but these have plug and play halos if you want them. You could look around and maybe find them cheaper?

Thanks ape. Is that just caps where the headlights go in the picture? Looks like the bulb holes are missing!

Yeah they're just rubber covers to keep moisture and dirt out. If you pu HIDs in you just have to cut a hole in them for the new wires.

Some are some aren't. Mine work pretty well. The light output from the H7 bulb in the projectors was a little better than stock. Like I said before I went with projectors so that I wasn't running HIDs in the stock reflectors. HIDs are definitely the way to go for more light whether you use factory housings or aftermarket.
