THanks!
I have a Magnaflow muff (18" version). At first, I kept the res then the kid in me came out and I had the res removed and it was literally 2-3 times louder. I ended up having the res put back on because on a long trip or towing my boat it was just too much...like would get a headache too much...don't get me wrong it sounded awesome...just too loud! Now it's back to mellow at part throttle and still mean when you open it up.

Vid I did below before I had the res removed. WOT runs start about 5:40. Good speakers or headphones help!

Borla Atak installed and I love the sound - no drone, but strong when you get on it. Wife thinks it is too quiet.

The myth of Borla's Atak catback being overly loud are unfounded it screams only when you want it too. In comparison a Harley Davidson drowns it out by a long shot I would guess a Harley is 2 to 3 times louder.

Ahhh, you are a lucky guy.
I suppose when you go fishing, she baits her own hook, too.
Grats.

Yes, very lucky and she does bait her own hook! Doesn't get any better.

I hate you guys. Now I want Borla ATAK on my truck. I don't want to spend a grand on exhaust on a new truck!

I know. I felt the same way, but just had to hear that engine. I got mine for $863 and my local shop installed it for $83. Is it worth it? I think so.

Oh man watch your gas consumption soar for the first two months since you always want to hear it! Be sure to let er rip when your next or near a Chevy or Dodge you can see them drool with envy.

It's money well spent it will last the life of your truck regardless if you have harsh winters with road salt. 302 stainless steel from end to end it won't rust. All pipes are mandrel bent opposed to crush bent which most exhaust shops do when they make your "custom" fit pipes. You get what you pay for IMO.
