Ok, so I have had transmission issues since I bought the truck. It is the issue where the truck hesitates when downshifting. The truck has been in the shop several times and is hit and miss with the mechanics duplicating the issue. They have flashed the programming a few times and it doesn't seem to help. This time they did a lube on the Slip yoke. what is that and was it worth the time.

My truck is almost out of warranty and I don't want this to keep happening. If you have seen my threads before, you know I have fought with the dealer trying to get in another truck, but they won't work with me.

I would love to file lemon law, but it seems like it would be a lot of time and energy

wow, looks like we're in the same boat. I've had tranny issues with mine too. mine barely has 15k but its been in the shop 4 times already. my truck does random hard shifts and the dealer has never gotten it right. i too am contemplating on whether to file a lemon law suit or not.

I hate that you are having the problems, but I'm glad it's not in my head. They have done the slip yoke lube 2x and reprogrammed the transmission 3-4 times. They have admitted it is a crappy transmission, but aren't willing to make it right.

At one point, the service manager was mad that I sent in a negative survey when I got one from Ford. After I explained to him why I did it, the GM, sales manager and finance manager were all involved. Claimed to get me a good deal on a new truck, yet my payment was going up.
