Default Replacement bumper help

I am getting a new rear Boondock for my Eco due to a drunk driver. I am contemplatingon getting the matching front but am hesitant to do so because I have an Ecoboost. Boondock offered to cut some vent in the intercooler area to help withairflow. What do you guys think that has a lot more knowledge than me with theway the Eco design works?

You don't want to block off the airflow to the intercooler, but as long as they can make an opening for the airflow to it,there shouldn't be a problem.

if they cut a vent for air flow i would would ask them to make it slightly larger than that of you factory ford bumper, just so ford cant ever say you restricted the air flow

Thank you both. I think I will pull the trigger on it. Iwill call them and talk to them about what the truck has now and see what sizethey think may work without losing integrity. Thanks again.

Have you thought of mounting a pusher fan on the front of your intercooler to help out air across it
