Default replace struts on a 6" lift

Hi All,
I have a rough country 6" suspension lift and need to replace my struts. currently using the stock struts with the 6" spacer. i know i have two options (1) replace the stock shock and keep the 6" spacer or (2) get a leveling shock and remove the spacer.
i am leaning toward option (2) but the only shock i can find is the rough country 6in N3 strut http://www.roughcountry.com/premium-...uts-23032.html.
does anyone have any experience with option 2, would it give me a better ride? because i cannot find a 6" shock other than the rough county would this be better than using a performance shock with the spacer? does anyone have any recommended strut similar to the rough country that is better?
thanks for the advice
dd

You also could find someone to get you some bilstein 51xx's (replace xx with the actual 6" product number).

You can also order the BDS 6" lift struts, not the fox 2.5" upgrade for around the same price of RC 6" struts. I got the BDS ones on my 6" and they ride nice I like them and not having the spacer look.
