2012 Ecoboost. Driver's door blown speaker needs to be replaced. Can someone send me the spec on the speaker and possibly a link to a how-to video. TIA.

Speaker is a standard Ford 6x8. Metra makes an adapter (72-5600) so you can swap in whatever aftermarket speaker you want without cutting wires:
Not sure if you have the Sony system or not.

Tip... try and keep the foam surround intact and use it with the new speaker.

 

I suggest going to crutchfield.com. You'll enter the vehicle information and they'll find speakers that will fit or speakers that will work with adapters and anything else you'll need to install. Even if you don't buy from them, it's nice to see everything you'll need.

 

Just in case
Make sure there isnt any broken wires in the door jam boot.
This model range F150 tend to end up having wires break in the boot, speakers & door locks.
