Default Removing valve covers on a 2009 5.4

I've got a 2009 5.4 FX4 that i only drive occasionally that ran great until it got cold. Now it idles really roughly and stalls unless I give it throttle and smells rich. I tried unplugging the VCT solenoids but it didn't seem to make a difference. I'd still like to replace them and have new ones and the new valve cap gaskets in hand.

Does anyone have a guide as to what all needs to be removed to gain enough access to remove the valve covers? I peeked under the hood last night and it just seems that a fair amount of stuff is in the way. I searched youtube and found guides for older generations, but not a 2009.

While I'm sure I could figure it out, a guide to save time and hassle would be great. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
