Ya...you know that sinking feeling when you've driven over some roadwork patch job that relies on the passing vehicles to pack it into place and all you can hear is the stuff flinging up to your undercarriage and you're going dam...and I own a white truck! WD40 works wonders to take it all off from the sides of the truck.

Don't use goo-gone to clean the excess adhesive off. Someone I know did this and messed up their paint (me) I'm an idiot.

that sucks. I looked at the directions on my bottle of goo gone this morning and it says for use with “most” automotive paint finishes. I’m not comfortable with the word “most”

lol if you're in texas when it gets to triple digits just pull it off slowly and it'll come right off, if not use heat and some fishing line to take it off. The goo gone to remove residue and then wax it off and you should barely be able to see that something was there, if anything.
