I want my flex fuel emblem gone...whats the best way to remove it and also looking for idea of something else to put there.

What have other members put there in place of the flex fuel?

I think I used nylon trim tools to pry it up carefully, then just pulled it off with my hands, both the metal emblem and the tape. Cleanup with GooGone and rubbing compound.

Used dental floss to cut the adhesive, then WD40 and polish to remove the remainder. Stuck a 5.0L badge from Ebay up higher on the tailgate, even with the F150 logo. Did that on my brother's truck last year.

It's easy to remove, it's stuck on with weatherstrip adhesive (think 3M) a piano/guitar wire/strong monofilament fishing line and saw back and forth then use WD40 to remove any residue.

Jinx lol Hadn't thought about dental floss but yeah that'd work too.

would recommend fishing line rather than anything metal based in case you are a dumbass like me and scratch the paint with it. (thankfully on an older one not my current)

Then some goo gone takes the adhesive off. I took all the emblems off my tailgate, repainted the ovals and the side ecoboost emblems on the doors.

Heat it up and either pry it off slowly, or use a fishing line. Grab some adhesive remover to get rid of the glue after.

Hair Dryer and fishing string which is the least abrasive string of all I have used. Then Goo Gone...DONE.

I also used the fishing line and a heat gun, came right off. As for folks using goo gone on paint, nope not for me. I used a 3m eraser wheel, I just don’t trust chemicals like that on my paint.
