Looking for recommendations of vendors who do quality paint and retrofit work for a set of projector headlights. Unsure of how in depth i want to go, but some PTM accents as well as upgraded projectors at minimum.
Which companies do you recommend? Is it easier to buy an eBay set and retrofit your own? Easy enough for a inexperienced?
I bought all the stuff to do my own retrofit, messed up one set of housings got another, had everything perfect but,,, did not triple check rotation of projectors before jb welding into place.
Wound up getting a set from raptor retrofits. Dawson couldn't be easier to work with. Awesome job and couldn't be happier.
If your patient and handy with some tools it can be done at home. You just gotta be sure on every move you make as you only get one shot at it.

with basic tools, you can do it yourself. the ebay OEM knockoffs are around $200. a set of EVO X-R 2.0 projectors, D2S bulbs and D2S ballast, harness and some retrorubber/butyl.
