Procedure i found that worked was close door, open door, hit unlock on door, insert key, turn to on position and back to off (fully) 8 times (finishing in the on position) within 10 seconds. The locks will cycle, hit any button on the remote fob and the locks will cycle again, then turn key to off, locks will cycle a final time.

I'm curious if you got it to acknowledge entering this mode by getting the lock cycle after the 8th turn?

Tried both ways and it cycled the locks but did not recognize the key. Still nothing

Is there an actual remote start module of some sort? Or is it all just the signal fed through the TPMS module, over the CANBUS to the BCM/column module and it then signals the starter?

I've had the OEM remote start give me a "click" instead of a startup on both my truck and my car a few times. Both are the Gen 2 MFT electrical systems. No start, just a click- but the next dozen times it'll be fine. Weird

Tried the birthing too. I had said that I had checked the fuses but actually couldn't find any fuses for that particular application. I checked a bunch of other ones just to see but to no avail

Apparently when I went to change my battery I disabled the remote start. There is a procedure you're supposed to follow. So I had to have the key reprogrammed. Just an update for you guys. Thanks for all the help
