Remote start and alarm

Just got my new truck and will be putting in a remote start and poss. a alarm. What have you guys been installing for a remote and do you think a alarm is nec. with the chipped keys?

Your truck probably has a factory alarm and I would stick with a factory remote start. There is another thread about those.
