Default Regrets?

I know I'll get biased opinions but I'm going to ask it anyways. Does anyone here regret/miss their SUV if they had one prior to their truck? I'm likely trading in my Xterra for the F150, so I'm going to miss all that internal storage. I do see underseat storage options but need to drop $100+ for something; which I'd have to do as I carry too much shiz currently including tow straps, tools, fire extinguisher, etc. Anyoen got pics of their storage solutions?

I traded my 4 door Jeep for the truck. I've got a Bak Flip bed cover so I just store whatever I want in the bed and lock the tailgate.

Not even close. Truck has much more utility. I have one of these for storing misc tools, straps, etc.

It depends on the SUV, I'm sure.

I had a 2000 4Runner prior to the truck. While the truck is more capable in darn near every way, well, let me just say that those who have owned a 4Runner will most likely know why I miss it. I won't give up a 4WD truck, but I'd get another 4Runner in a heartbeat if I could.

I had a 2013 Escape Titanium with every available option. I now drive a striped down truck with crank up windows. No regrets.

I left an Explorer, which isn't on the large side, for an F150 and no looking back. As far as storage, a crew is pretty much huge in back. I also went for a 6.5' box.

The first pic is of the Ford Accessories back seat storage unit. It's about $100 and attaches with three bolts/nuts that go right through where the carpet pins are. No drilling ... need to remove the jack kit, which isn't a bad thing to know. 15-minute job and keeps my straps, bungees, gloves, and persuader in order. I could easily jam twice as much in there as the pic shows. Two sizes: one for the subwoofer, one without. Nice piece of fairly inexpensive equipment. Keeps stuff more or less in order back there.

Next two pics are of the Truxedo TonneauMate. Great piece of equipment if you want it for the correct purpose ... light. It's rated at 200lbs, which seems about right. It's very light ABS and is a snap to install and remove. Can't weigh more than 25lbs. No drilling as it attaches below the rails with some serious heavy duty aluminum teeth. Has a lock, but I wouldn't be leaving my tools in it overnight. Those are big Husky boxes in the second pic, one at about 60 and the other 35.

Only bad thing is that the golf bag is a shade long.

There is plenty of room in a SCREW. Folded up, it's a cavern in the back. As for storage, I got one of those clear flat plastic storage boxes from Target. I think it was $7 on sale. I put a tow chain, jumper cables, gloves, straps, and have room for more. I had a Pathfinder prior to my F150, and I don't miss a thing about it. The gas mileage is also about the same.

There's a reason the f150 is america's best. I wouldn't trade my 2012 for anything....well maybe a 2015 f150
