Default The Numbers Don't Lie

I'm sure this won't put an end to the endless discussions about the ecoboost mileage, but these numbers don't lie.

I have compiled all of my mileage logs from my current 2011 FX4 Ecoscrew 3.73, and my previous truck 2010 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 TRD Off-road crew cab.

Enjoy.

Either I can't read it via mobile or you are missing something.
Let me know if it is there and I'll go on the computer.

Not far from mine which is at 19.2 at 22.5K miles. I am 95% highway at 70 mph in the flat lands of Texas.

I'm very happy to see that I'm not the only one out there that does this kind of thing My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy...

I'm getting the same numbers with the 3.31 axle, mix of highway and backroad in hilly NH.

hmm so how do you drive? when I was staying under 65 hwy and starting slow so the boosters didnt kick in, I was at 20 MPG, but I went back to the pedal to the medal from start, love that squeal sound, to 70-80 on Hwy, not holding back getting back to it if I am slowed by some yahoo in the fast lane, so my MPG droped to between 17 and 17.5. Im happy with it, I can live with about 3 less MPG as long as I get that great zip that the Eco gives.

My travel is almost all Hwy so its a pretty even over the long haul....one other note, the 20 MPG was hand calulated over 4 weeks, longest I could stand driving grandmotherly, the 17-17.5 is pure dash so not sure how accurate it is, but Im not filling up much more than before so cant be to far off.

Nice facts thanks

The mpg that the truck shows can vary quite a bit for some people. Mine has never been more than .5mpg off. All of my numbers are hand calculated.

Entries #102 and 103 are a trip from Columbus, GA to Nashville, TN and back. I had the cruise set to 65 for both trips, minimal stops. Every other trip is pretty much at 70-75mph and 20-21.5mpg. Everything below 20mpg is mixed or city.
