Reflector to Blinkers Version 2 with pics

Another great mod - Done!
Did this mod today. And, I am extremely pleased with the results. It took me nearly 2 hours. About 20 minutes of that was paying really close attention to how the mirror was attached and how to remove it without breaking anything.
Posts here are very accurate on removal. Just studying the pics and light prying and I had no problem. I also took the time to solder the wires, and use liquid tape. I debated as to use liquid tape or heat shrink, but the liquid tape seems to work pretty good, so I went with that. I had to remove the mirror for 2 reasons:
1. I could not get to the wires through the puddle lamp hole.
2. I wanted to remove the shell so I could bench test it and dremel the hole wider.
I used 9 LED's, cutting 2 strips of 18. (I plan to solder wires to the other 2 strips of 9 and heat shrink them.) I'll reuse them somewhere I think.
Very pleased with how it looks! Here's some pics.
Fitting the strip and cutting the reflector:
Adhering the strip for a good fit:
Bench testing:
Hooray! The finished product:
Thanks to everyone in this thread who comments and posts pics and videos. They are a great help in doing this kind of thing!

where did you run the wire from the parking lights through the door? ive got my wire coiled up in the door but couldnt find a good spot to run it through, was gonna drill a hole and use a grommet, but that proved difficult due to the length of the drill and angle of the door and truck body. Didnt feel like taking the door off so I havent hooked it up yet, lol!
