Default Refinance

Did anyone refinance there truck loan? Had to go though Ford to get all the rebates. Right now my rate is 4.89%. The dealer told me I HAD to make 3 payments though ford. Come to find out why they told me that is because they would get there kickback money. My personal bank did away with there GAP coverage

Bottom line, dealers get assessed a penalty if buyers refi before making min 3 or 4 payments. Dealer I bought mine from confirmed this is so. 'Nuff said...

can't stress that enough.

you can get it re-financed the next day, though you'll likely need to wait a week or two for FMC to get your paperwork processed and on the books in order to get your payoff info.

You can do it right away. I refi mine after the first payment through state farm. They also gave me free gap insurance.

Do it ASAP. I went through a credit union. Check out Pentagon Federal. Anyone can join if they make a donation to a charity, in the military, etc.
